<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength optical information recording medium of Blu-ray format exhibiting satisfactory recording characteristics upon recording by irradiation with short wavelength laser light. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium has a reflection layer 18, a recording layer 14, a barrier layer 20 and a cover layer 16 in this order on the surface of a substrate 12 having a pregroove comprising a plurality of grooves and lands positioned between adjacent grooves on the surface. The optical information recording medium has an intermediate layer 22 formed by curing a UV curable composition containing a urethane (meth)acrylate based macro monomer and having ≤-15°C glass transition temperature between the barrier layer 20 and the cover layer 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
