<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To autonomously organize a large number of grouped information processing devices without producing structural conflict and confusion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Clients participating in contents are grouped, and the group (shown by a triangle shown in the figure) is disposed in a tree-shape having a server at the apex thereof. Also a plurality of clients in each of the group are selected as representatives of the group. The figure shows the combination of a tree A and a tree B which were originally separated into two parts. This combination is performed by the following procedure. First the representative of the group to which a client 605 belongs consults together as to whether the combination is proposed or not and, when a majority determines to propose the combination, transmits a request for combination to the representative of the group to which the client 604 belongs. Then when the representative of the group to which the client 604 belongs consults together as to whether the combination is accepted or not and a majority determines to accept the proposal, two trees are combined with each other with both the groups taken as nodes.
