PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents recording device capable of recording a plurality of contents input in parallel without excess or deficiency. SOLUTION: When a recording stop key 26d is pressed while two contents (CH1 and CH2) from two input processing circuits 14 and 18 are recorded in parallel in a hard disk 20a, a CPU 28 holds information (T) indicating the timing of this key depression in a register 28a. Then, when one of channel selection keys 26a and 26b is pressed, the recording of contents corresponding to the depressed key is stopped.
