<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub apparatus which gives sufficient massaging effects to a bathing person, and a massaging device for a bathroom. <P>SOLUTION: A bathtub 2 and the massaging device 1 for a bathroom mounted on the bathtub 2 are provided in the bathtub apparatus 11. The massaging device 1 for the bathtub is provided with a fixing and supporting part 3 which is fixed to the bathtub 2 and is placed on a rim 2f of the bathtub 2, a headrest 4 provided around the fixing and supporting part 3, a backrest frame 5 pivoted by the fixing and supporting part 3 in a turnable manner, a base plate 6 mounted on the backrest frame 5, an advancing part 7 provided on the base plate 6, and a driving means for driving the advancing part 7. The advancing part 7 is displaced between a standard state in which the surface and a surface of the base plate 6 form the same plane and an advanced state in which the surface is advanced compared to the standard state.
