PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for stabilization of a common potential in a semiconductor integrated circuit that drives a LCD panel by inverting the common potential. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit includes: an image signal generating circuit generating an image signal; a power supply circuit generating a first power supply potential higher than the image signal, a second power supply potential lower than the image signal, a third power supply potential lower than the first power supply potential and a fourth power supply potential higher than the second power supply potential; and a common potential generating circuit that supplies the third power supply potential to an output node while a control signal holds a first level and supplies the fourth power supply potential to the output node while the control signal holds a second level, as well as supplies the first power supply potential to the output node while the potential of the output node rises to the third power supply potential so as to accelerate the rising of the common potential, and supplies the second power supply potential to the output node while the potential of the output node falls to the fourth power supply potential so as to accelerate the falling of the common potential.
