摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and selectively aluminizing the surface of an internal passage and the like of a turbine engine component, and to provide a composition therefor. SOLUTION: This aluminizing method comprises the steps of: preparing a slurry composition which includes an aluminum-containing powder, and a binder selected from among colloidal silica, an organic resin and the combination of these; charging the slurry composition into the internal passage of a metal substrate; distributing the slurry compositions over the whole internal passage by feeding pressurized air into the internal passage; and heat-treating the slurry composition under a condition sufficient for removing a volatile component from the slurry composition and for diffusing aluminum into the surface of the internal passage.
