PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic having a laminar gel structure which comprises a surfactant, a higher alcohol, and water and has improved stability. SOLUTION: This cosmetic having a laminar gel structure comprising a surfactant, a higher alcohol and water further comprises a water-soluble silane derivative of a specific structure, and the stability of the laminar gel structure is remarkably improved.
