PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger switch which has higher capacity and longer life by that share since the double main contact in series is enabled to be used at two poles by providing an auxiliary movable contact for an auxiliary contact, and braking a motor with the auxiliary movable contact. SOLUTION: By drawing in an operation part 51, at the same time power supply is supplied to the motor since the movable contact 64 electrically contacts fixed contacts 63, 67, as auxiliary contact parts 83A, 83B move so as to straddle over sliding plate parts 81, 82, contact of the fixed contacts 63, 67 with the movable contact 64 is not made to have a potential. By separating the operation part 51, at the same time a contact state of the fixed contacts 63, 67 with the movable contact 64 is separated as the auxiliary contact parts 83A, 83B straddling over the sliding plate parts 81, 82 move and separates contact with the sliding plate parts 81, 82, and since the auxiliary movable contact 83e provided in the auxiliary contact part 83B contacts the fixed contact 90j to put the motor in a short circuit state to brake the motor.
