PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize sealing by using alloying so that a narrow introduction passage with a good wettability is added as an introduction passage and an amount of introduced liquid metal is adjusted by pressure and introduction time from the outside and a proper amount of liquid metal is introduced to a liquid chamber in a relay. SOLUTION: In the liquid metal relay having an introduction hole for introducing the liquid metal and the introduction passage for connecting the introduction hole and the liquid chamber, in which ON/OFF conditions among a plurality of electrodes in the liquid chamber are switched by the liquid metal, an amount of the introduced liquid metal is adjusted by the pressure and the introduction time from the outside so that the cross section of the introduction passage is lessened by comparison with the cross section of the liquid chamber, a proper amount of the liquid metal is introduced into the liquid chamber in the relay, and sealing by using alloying is attained.
