PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method capable of constructing a columnar ground improvement pile with a high bearing force, downsizing a diameter and a length of the columnar ground improvement pile compared to a conventional one, decreasing an amount of a binder to be used, and reducing a sand production that has to be removed to the ground.SOLUTION: A ground improvement method comprises the processes of: forming a drilling hole (40) in which sand production (41) remains by drilling a ground (4) to a required depth by a drilling means; mixing and agitating the sand production (41) in the drilling hole (40) and a liquid binder by an agitation means to produce a fluid mixture 5 in the drilling hole (40); forming a spiral groove (42) on a porous wall of the drilling hole (40) by drilling to a required depth in a lengthwise direction of the drilling hole (40); and solidifying the fluid mixture (5) in the drilling hole (40).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
