Provided is a microneedle patch with which a treatment can be reliably completed in a short time when microneedles are administered to the skin or mucous membranes. A microneedle patch (100F) is provided with a base member (101) and a plurality of microneedles (103g) supported by the base member (101). Each microneedle (103g) is provided with: a top-section layer (104) containing a biologically active substance to be inserted into the dermis (310); and an intermediate layer (106) provided between the top-section layer (104) and the base member (101), the intermediate layer (106) having a composition of lower breaking strength than that of the composition of the top-section layer (104) and measuring 5-100 μm in thickness.
