Provided is a method for manufacturing a peeling member constituted by a non-adhesive resin film such as a fluorine resin adhering to a metal sheet, said manufacturing method being capable of manufacturing a peeling member that can prevent sticking of paper directly after fusing over a long period of time, with high productivity and without variations in quality. The manufacturing method is for a peeling member having a peeling sheet 1a formed from a metal sheet 2 and a non-adhesive resin film 4 adhering to the metal sheet and is provided with a groove forming step for forming a pattern part 5 formed from a plurality of recessed grooves along the longitudinal direction of the film on part of the paper passing side surface of the non-adhesive film 4 before adhering to the metal sheet 2 and a film adhering step for making the non-adhesive resin film 4 obtained in the groove forming step adhere such that the pattern part 5 is positioned along the longitudinal direction of a tip part 2a of the paper passing side surface of the metal sheet 2.
