Disclosed is an evaporation gas treating system for a vessel, which uses evaporation gas as a cooling fluid to reliquefy the evaporation gas generated in a liquefied natural gas storage tank installed in a vessel. The evaporation gas treating system for a vessel includes: a compressor compressing the evaporation gas; a heat exchanger heat-exchanging the evaporation gas discharged from the storage tank and the evaporation gas compressed after passing through the compressor; and an expansion unit lowering the pressure of the evaporation gas passing through the heat exchanger and the compressor. The evaporation gas treating system for a vessel returns the evaporation gas, which cannot be reliquefied and stays in a gas state, and the evaporation gas partially reliquefied after passing through the expansion unit to the storage tank.
