The present invention is to provide a mobile terminal to make a terminal of the other party to be rapidly selected when an application is executed in the mobile terminal to be linked, and a control method thereof. The present invention provides the mobile terminal comprising: a wireless communication unit to communicate with a touch screen, a camera, a memory, and the terminal of the other party; and a control unit to control a preview image inputted on the touch screen by the camera to be displayed, to capture the preview image and control a voice recognition function in response to the execution of a first touch gesture on the touch screen, and to control the captured image to be transferred to one or more terminals of the other party searched by the voice recognition function according to a voice input in response to the release of the first touch gesture from the touch screen.
