The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing MgO from the surface of a rotary roll, which is to improve the removal efficiency of foreign materials attached to the surface of a rotary roll. The apparatus for removing MgO from the surface of a rotary roll comprises: a frame which is installed on a worktable and is arranged in the axial direction of the rotary roll; and a removal part which is installed on the front surface of the frame toward the rotary roll and adheres to the surface of the rotary roll to remove MgO attached to the surface of the rotary roll, wherein the removal part comprises one or more wires which are installed between the top and bottom of the frame to pass the front surface of the frame and are arranged to be inclined to the axial direction of the rotary roll to adhere to the surface of the rotary roll. |
