According to an embodiment of the present invention, a liquid crystal display device comprises: a lower display plate including a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; an upper display plate facing a lower panel; and a liquid crystal layer located between the lower display plate and the upper display plate. The lower display plate comprises: a data line; first and second color filters configured to cover at least a portion of the data line and overlap each other on the data line; and an opaque shielding electrode configured to extend in the same direction as the data line on the first and second color filters and overlap the data line. Therefore, the liquid crystal display device can minimize light leakage.
