PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter making device capable of improving convenience for an operator, by smoothly making printed matter, by accurately predicting behavior of the temperature of a thermal head, when executing printing processing.SOLUTION: A printer executes cooling by interrupting-stopping carrying by a carrier roller and the printing formation by a thermal head, when the detection temperature T by a temperature sensor reaches the first printing interrupting- stopping temperature T1a. The printer also executes regular printing processing for repeatedly forming printing of a unit printing image in a plurality to a pressure sensitive adhesive tape along the tape carrying direction. The printer also executes first test printing processing for forming printing of a unit printing image by one to the pressure sensitive adhesive tape. The printer predicts behavior of the detection temperature T when executing the regular printing processing based on the detection temperature T, the first printing interrupting-stopping temperature T1a and designation length data when executing the first test printing processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
