The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker for determining tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold, a composition for determining tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold comprising a material capable of detecting or amplifying the SNP marker, a kit for determining tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold comprising the composition, and a method for determining tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold, wherein the method comprises the steps of: (a) amplifying a polynucleotide SNP marker consisting of SEQ ID No: 1 derived from DNA of a sample separated from a subject; and determining a base portion of the SNP marker amplified in the step (a). The novel SNP marker and an HRM analysis method using the same of the present invention can be used as a means to determine tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold or to objectively evaluate tomatoes having resistance to leaf mold which cannot be discriminated with naked eyes, thereby discriminating tomato varieties having resistance to leaf mold and evaluating resistance of improved varieties of tomatoes. Furthermore, the novel SNP marker and the HRM analysis method using the same of the present invention can discriminate Cf-9 resistance genes from susceptible genes with respect to tomato leaf mold and Cf-4 resistance genes which are relatively similar with Cf-9. |
