The present invention relates to an electrode assembly, which comprises: a consecutive porous polymer substrate having the consecutive folding separators; and an organic-inorganic porous coating layer formed by a mixture of an inorganic particle and a binder polymer provided for the overlapping unit in a discontinuous manner. The electrode assembly has a plurality of unit cells overlapped, and has a structure of consecutive folding separators are interposed in each overlapping unit. Provided in the present invention is the stack-folding-type electrode assembly, which impregnates an electrolyte in an easy manner, and has the volume reduced than the conventional electrode assembly.
