PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high aspect ration silver nanowire including collecting a plurality of high aspect ratio silver nanowires from a product mixture.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a high aspect ratio silver nanowire by adding water, reduced sugar, a copper (II) ion source and a halogenated ion source into a container, heating at 110 to 160°C and further adding a part of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and a silver ion source respectively, adding the remains of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone and silver ion source after a delayed term to form a grown mixture, heating and holding the grown mixture at 110 to 160°C for 2 to 30 hours to produce and collect a high aspect ratio silver nanowire. There is provided the method of the silver nanowire by setting total glycol concentration in the container to less than 0.001 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
