PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately achieve reduction in variations of latency and throughput in a packet transfer with a less amount of hardware.SOLUTION: The semiconductor chip includes: a module for transmitting transfer data containing an existence period corresponding to a period during which transfer data is transferred; and a router, including a plurality of input/output control parts for receiving and transmitting the transfer data, for adding a predetermined value to the existence period included in transferred data whose transmission is suspended as a result of arbitration for transmitting transfer data including a maximum existence period among a plurality of transmitted transfer data competing with one of the input/output control parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
