PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that can easily adjust visibility of a virtual image.SOLUTION: An image display device of the present invention comprises: an image creation part that emits image light including image information; a first optical system that condenses the image light to form an intermediate image; a second optical system that polarizes light from the intermediate image and guides a virtual image to the eye of an observer, and transmits and guides external light to the eye of the observer; and intermediate image position changing means that changes the position of the intermediate image to adjust the position in a depth direction of the virtual image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
