The present invention relates to a device for controlling a conveyor speed, which is for a conveyor system including: a first conveyor on which an object to be transferred is loaded; a second conveyor which a transferred object is loaded on and unloaded from; and a middle conveyor transferring the loaded object. The device for controlling a conveyor speed includes: a work amount calculation unit individually calculating a first work amount on an object amount mounted on the first conveyor every a unit time, a second work amount of the object loaded on the second conveyor every unit time, and a transfer amount on the middle conveyor; and an object speed determining unit individually determining one among deceleration, acceleration, or speed maintaining about the speed of the first conveyor, the second conveyor, and the middle conveyor every unit time, in accordance with a deceleration condition individually comparing first and second work amounts or the transfer amount to first and second deceleration work amounts or deceleration numbers, and an acceleration condition individually comparing the first and second work amounts or the transfer number to the first and second acceleration work amounts or the acceleration number.
