An imaging-facilitating apparatus for facilitating imaging of a target area within a body including an obstructing body fluid, said imaging being performed by an imaging mechanism utilizing a radiation, said imaging facilitating apparatus comprising: a catheter having a longitudinal axis and a catheter distal end for introduction thereof into said body towards said target area; and a laminar flow jet mechanism comprising a plurality of channels each at least partially extending along said longitudinal axis within said catheter and having a channel proximal end configured for being in fluid communication with a source of external liquid and a channel distal end associated with said catheter distal end, said channels being configured for allowing passage of said external liquid therethrough so as to generate together a laminar column of liquid at a distal region disposed beyond said catheter distal end. |
