AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle, capable of facilitating maintenance when a refrigerant is leaked from an evaporator and of detaching only a lower case to a lower end on a passenger seat without detaching a whole cockpit module of a vehicle. The air conditioner for a vehicle includes: an air conditioning case including a lower case in which a first case is connected to a second case in horizontal width direction of the vehicle, and a lower case connected to the lower part of the upper case; the evaporator installed inside the air conditioning case; and a blower unit connected to one side of one among the first case and the second case and blowing air to the evaporator. The lower case is formed to be assembled by sliding and to be disassembled, in the horizontal width direction of the vehicle on the upper case. Therefore, the air conditioner for a vehicle can reduce costs and can facilitate A/S when a leakage of the refrigerant in the evaporator and odor of the air conditioner are generated. The air conditioner for a vehicle enable periodical maintenance of the evaporator for preventing the odor and removing microorganism.
