OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVING DEVICE AND DISK DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device wherein drive sensitivity and a high order resonance frequency are high by improving rigidity while lightening a lens holder.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to the objective lens driving device which drives an objective lens converging light from a light source on a recording plane of an optical disk being a recording medium of information in the focusing direction and in the tracking direction, wherein an optical element of a quadrangle is attached to a side of the power source for the objective lens of the lens holder holding the objective lens in a state in which an optical axis direction of the optical element is almost parallel with the focusing direction and all four sides of the optical element are not made parallel to the tracking direction.
