<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing damage and a collision sound caused by a collision between a refill and a shaft cylinder inner periphery or between refills in a retractable composite writing implement with a writing tip part formed to be retractable by selecting one of a plurality of refills in the shaft cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The retractable composite writing implement 1 comprises a plurality of refills 20, 30, 40 in the shaft cylinder, and is formed to make retractable the writing tip part of the selected refill from a nozzle 10 mounted to the front end of the shaft cylinder 11, wherein alignment is performed by a position adjusting tube 70, and a large number of soft protrusions 82 protruded in the axis direction of the shaft cylinder are provided at positions, corresponding to the refill side faces, on the inner peripheral surface of the shaft cylinder 11.
