PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal image sensor appropriate for measurement of the amount of activity.SOLUTION: The thermal image sensor includes: an infrared receiving unit 34 including a plurality of infrared receiving elements for receiving infrared rays, respectively; a lens 33 for irradiating the infrared receiving unit 34 with infrared light; and a rotation drive unit 31a for rotating the infrared receiving unit 34 and lens 33 using, as a rotation axis, the axis that passes a part of the lens 33 and extends substantially in parallel with the surface having the infrared receiving elements of the infrared receiving unit 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 31
