PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a simple configuration to achieve a quick start-up of an image processing device from an OFF state of a main power source.SOLUTION: A power supply device supplying power to each configuration units of a device comprises: a main power source unit that supplies power to each configuration unit; an auxiliary power source unit that is the configuration unit required for a power supply upon starting up the device of each configuration unit of the device, and supplies the power to an auxiliary object configuration unit serving as a configuration unit in which time required for starting up is equal to or more than a prescribed time; a discharge control unit that controls the auxiliary power source unit so as to output a voltage which is less than a voltage to be output from the main power source unit, and is equal to or more than a lower limit of a voltage range where the auxiliary power source unit is operable; and a power supply prevention unit that prevents the power from being supplied to each configuration unit of the device other than the auxiliary object configuration unit from the auxiliary power source unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
