PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective member for cable connection part excellent in mechanical properties, heat aging properties and dimensional stability and a cable connection part using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a protective member for cable connection part constituted by a crosslinked body of a composition containing 100 pts.mass of (A) a polymer component consisting of 40 to 80 mass% of (a-1) an ethylene propylene diene ternary copolymer having ethylene content of 52 to 55 mass%, diene content of 7.4 to 8.4 mas%, Mooney viscosity ML(100°C) of 5 to 10 and 20 to 60 mass% of (a-2) an ethylene propylene diene ternary copolymer having ethylene content of 62 to 67 mass%, diene content of 4.0 to 5.0 mass% and Mooney viscosity ML(125°C) of 40 to 80, 30 to 60 pts.mass of (B) a process oil, 40 to 70 pts.mass of (C) carbon black and 2 to 4 pts.mass of (D) a crosslinker and a cable connection part having the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
