A bidirectional IrDA base intelligent remote control remote controller, an information home appliance and an operating method transmitting control information in bidirectional IrDA are provided to perform a function of an exclusive remote controller through one remote controller by acquiring control information. A transceiver(140) sets up information household electrical appliance and infrared ray bidirectional IrDA(Infrared Data Association) channel through automatic channel search. A control information storage unit(130) stores and receives control information from the home appliance. An input-output processing unit(110) displays key information value on a UI(User Interface) according to control information. An information processor decodes a user command inputted from the input-output processing unit and transmits the information to the home appliances through the communication channel.
