A method for offering a cyber prepaid card is provided to remove the inconvenience of gift card issuance by offering the intangible cyber prepaid card when using the Internet e-commerce or communication sale without a substantial plastic card. A buyer terminal requests the issuance of a cyber prepaid card from a central server(S100,S200). The central server transmits a virtual card number and an authentication number to a portable phone of a receiver. The terminal inputs the authentication number to confirm the virtual card number and then inquires about the card number of the cyber prepaid card(S300). The terminal connects to a web site of the center server, and then performs the usage registration of the cyber prepaid card(S400-S600).
