An annular friction member made of non-metallic material is fixedly disposed an either the radial outermost friction surface of the rotor or the radial outermost friction surface of the armature plate, thereby eliminating metallic collisions between the two outermost friction surfaces and reducing offensive noise for automobile passengers. |
