<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a member to a fuel tank, which suppresses fuel transmission from between the opening of a fuel tank body and a mounting member to be mounted in the opening. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel tank component 30 is inserted into and mounted in the insertion hole 36 of the fuel tank body 14. The barrier layer 24 N of the fuel tank body 14 is exposed at the inner edge of an annular part 40, so that the exposed part 28 of the barrier layer is constituted. A gasket 48 mounted at the inner edge of the annular part 40 contacts with the exposed part 28 of the barrier layer and the flange part 34 of the fuel tank component 30 to seal the space therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
