<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for manufacturing superior in color tone reproducibility and cleanability and toner particle stability and high in image density by granulating toner particles from a toner mother solution containing a binder and a colorant and an organic solvent resin in an aqueous solution containing a surfactant. SOLUTION: The toner particles are granulated by dispersing the toner mother solution containing the binder resin and the colorant and the organic solvent into the aqueous solution and adding the inorganic dispersant after the granulation, thus permitting the obtained toner particles to be finer and narrower in the particle distribution than those having the inorganic disersant added at the time of the dispersion and grain growth. The binder resin to be used is, preferably, a polyester resin and a vinyl type resin, and the polyester resin is made from a polyacid component and polyol component and it is preferred to use a diol together with a triol or higher polyols from the view point of enhancing fixability and offset resistance and the like.</p> |
