PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fatigue of an inner of a brake cable even when actuation and non-actuation of a parking brake is repeated by installing the brake cable on a car body and supporting it on a bracket free to revolve. SOLUTION: A parking brake is furnished with a control device 2 containing an operation lever part 1, a brake cable 3 consisting of first and second brake cables 6, 7 to connect a vehicle brake and the control device 2 to each other and a control mechanism 4 to fix both of the cables 6, 7 free to control. The operation lever part 1 is supported on a base part 1b fixed on a car body 5 by a support shaft 1a free to oscillate, and a bracket 10 to support one end 8a of an outer 8 of the second brake cable 7 is fixed on the car body 5 in the neighbourhood of this control device 2. This bracket 10 has two cable receiver parts 10a furnished with cutouts 11, and a projection 12 projectively provided on the outer one end 8a is engaged with a circular part of each of the cutouts 11 free to revolve. |
