PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a terminal treatment such as simultaneous connection by aligning plural coated optical fibers to one row. SOLUTION: A slit 4 which is formed with an aperture 4a on a lateral side and is formed slightly larger in a height size than the diameter of coated optical fibers 5 is formed at a holder body 2. A notched part 6 is formed in the intermediate part of this holder body 2 so as to expose the slit 4. The holder body is provided with a fiber retaining member 3 which presses the coated optical fibers 5 into the slit 4 and closely aligns the coated optical fibers 5 by being fitted into the aperture 4a of the slit 4 in the state of inserting the plural coated optical fibers 5 into the slit 4. The notched part 6 of the holder body 2 is turnably provided with a fiber pressing member 7 for pressing and holding the optical fibers 5 inserted into the slit 4 from the lateral side thereof. |
