PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high precision and high torque output at a low cost. SOLUTION: A stepping motor 1 is provided with hall elements 3, 4 which detects the position of a rotor 2 and outputs a detection signal, whose cycle is the same as an energizing cycle and whose phase is advanced by 90 degrees with respect to the position of the rotor 2. The stepping motor 1 is driven by driving current outputted by multiplying a detected signal outputted from the hall elements 3, 4 by a torque command signal which controls the output torque of the stepping motor 1. |
