PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting structure capable of interconnecting pipes laid in the form of a curve, while securing a high watertight property even at a great depth. SOLUTION: This connecting structure, when a plurality of pipes are propelled sequentially from a vertical shaft and laid in the form of a curve, connects a leading front pipe 11 with a rear pipe 26 following the front pipe 11, while having a watertight property. An annular recess 12 extending along a circumferential direction is provided in the outer periphery of the rear end of the front pipe 11, and a first cylindrical collar 15 is fixed via a sealant 16 in such a way as to cover the annular recess 12. A second, approximately- cylindrical collar 22 whose front end is inserted into the annular recess 12 is connected to the outer periphery of the front end of the rear pipe 26 via a sealant 23. A flexible, expansible bellows pipe 20 is placed between the first and second collars 15, 22 in such a way as to be covered with the first collar 15 to secure the watertight property between the first and second collars 15, 22. |
