The hot process stream (16; "A"; 92; 152; 184; 204; 246) can be generated in any manner and can include a burner section of a steam methane reformer (2), a gas turbine of an integrated combined cycle (3 ), a combustion chamber used to pre-heat incoming air and oxygen for a blast furnace (140), an oxygen transport membrane system (180), and a gas turbine (202) or natural gas engine that is provided to compress air in a cryogenic air separation unit (228; 240).
