PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developing device which reduces the influence on images by adhesion of the cutting waste, emulsion peeling, etc., from end surfaces of heat developing photosensitive films to opposed rollers by making it possible to process the films from small to large sizes in executing heat developing process. SOLUTION: The heat developing device is equipped with a heating drum 14 which has a cylindrical sleeve 36, a heating source 32 arranged within the sleeve, and an elastic layer 38 disposed on the outside surface of the sleeve, a plurality of the opposed rollers 16 which are arranged to press the films F to the heating drum, a driving means which rotationally drives the plurality of the opposed rollers, and a cleaning section 70 which abuts on the plurality of the opposed rollers and cleans the surfaces of the plurality of the opposed rollers rotated by the driving means.
