PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decompose or suppress a smelly constituent or an allergen substance accumulated on a floor mat put on a floor of a footrest space largely depressed forward or accumulated at the back of a footrest space. SOLUTION: A cleaning device for a vehicle comprises: a discharge electrode 1; a high voltage applying means applying a high voltage to the discharge electrode 1; a water supply means 3 supplying water to the discharge electrode 1; and an electrostatic atomization device 6 having a discharge hole 4 discharging electrically-charged fine particle water into the vehicle compartment 8 which is produced by applying the high voltage to the discharge electrode 1 and electrostatically atomizing the water supplied to the discharge electrode 1. The discharge hole 4 of the electrostatic atomization device 6 is formed below an instrument panel 5, so that the electrically-charged fine particle water is discharged to the footrest space 13 disposed below the instrument panel 5 of the vehicle 7.
