A copyright management system and a method thereof are provided to distribute a profit rationally among an original author, a second author and a service provider when the second author uses an original work. A copyright management system(13) and a method thereof comprise the following units. An original work information DB(15) includes information about an original work. A second work DB(17) includes both the second work written by the second author and information about the second work produced by using the original work with permission of the original author. The at least one PC of the original author is connected to the at least one PC of the second author through a network. |
