PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling paint or a paint, which can be mass-produced by using inexpensive raw materials and can prevent aquatic organisms from adhering without polluting an ecological environment. SOLUTION: After placing 95 wt.% of an aqueous emulsion of paraffin wax into a container made of stainless steel, the aqueous emulsion is heated at 20-50°C by an electric heating appliance, and while keeping it warm and stirring it, 0.1 wt.% of fluorinated carbon and 5 wt.% of boron nitride powder are added to be mixed. As for controlling temperature, a thermostat is used, and attention is paid so that the temperature does not reach a temperature above a boiling point. The stirring is carried out for 15-20 minutes while keeping the temperature at 20-50°C. The antifouling paint or the paint prepared in this way is packed in a container. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
