PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a package of a sanitary goods which is capable of reducing the amount of a long tubular packaging film used for forming a packaging bag. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the package of the sanitary goods in which the sanitary goods is sealed inside a packaging bag, the long tubular packaging film 11 is cut to form a plurality of packaging bags of the predetermined length while lower end edges 21b side are opened, and openings on upper end edges 21a side are sealed. The upper end edge 21a of the packaging bag 13 is cut in a shape so that a center part 31 in the width direction of the packaging bag 13 projects outward of the packaging bag 13 from a side edge part in the width direction of the packaging bag with a valley-folded part being folded in at least by a gusset structure; and the lower end edge 21b of the packaging bag 13 is cut in a shape so that a center part 41 in the width direction of the packaging bag 13 is recessed more inward of the packaging bag from a side edge part in the width direction of the packaging bag 13.
