PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a light spot applied on a projection surface accurately and stably, without any influence of a video signal, in a system using a plurality of image projection apparatuses.SOLUTION: An image projection apparatus includes a synchronization signal output section 11 which transmits a synchronization signal designated to capture a projection surface in a projection period excluding a period where a light instruction apparatus emits light of a predetermined color, to an information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes: a projection control section 28 for projecting projection images so as to synthesize the projection images of a plurality of projection apparatuses; an imaging control section 21 which causes an imaging section to capture the projection surface, in response to the synchronization signal; an irradiation image detection section 24 which detects an irradiation image applied on the projection surface by the light instruction apparatus from image data captured by the imaging section; and an irradiation image generation section 25 which generates irradiation image data by adding a predetermined image according to a position of the detected irradiation image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
