PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate cylinder with an image pickup device that can acquire a communication state which is always excellent and stable so as to improve reliability of communication.SOLUTION: An intermediate cylinder with an image pickup device comprises: an imaging device 11; a power supply battery 81; a main substrate 72 mounted with a control circuit; a cylindrical main-body exterior part 10 which covers an outer surface; a mount part 12 provided on a front side of the main-body exterior part and enabling a lens barrel to be mounted and demounted; a first radio communication part consisting of a first communication antenna 87a and a first communication substrate 87 mounted with the first communication antenna; a second radio communication part consisting of a second communication antenna 88a and a second communication substrate 88 mounted with the second communication antenna; and a metallic frame member 66, the first radio communication part and second radio communication being arranged on an outer surface of the metallic frame member, and the main-body exterior part being arranged to cover outer surfaces of the first radio communication part and second radio communication part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
