PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ocular type video display capable of ensuring a wide field of view of an observer.SOLUTION: A video display 100 includes a display optical system 10 for displaying video, an ocular optical system 20 for guiding video light emitted from the display optical system 10 to the pupil of the observer, a first housing chamber 30 housing the display optical system 10, a second housing chamber 40 housing the ocular optical system 20, and rotating means 50 for fixing the second housing chamber 40 rotatably to the first housing chamber 30. The rotating means 50 has an upper side coupling 51 and a lower side coupling 52 fixed to the upper surface 41 and lower surface 42 of the second housing chamber 40, and a fixing pin 53 fixing the upper side coupling 51 and lower side coupling 52 rotatably to the upper surface 31 and lower surface 32 of the first housing chamber 30. Furthermore, an opening 54 for passing the line of sight of the observer is formed at at least a part between the upper side coupling 51 and lower side coupling 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
