PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of an electric motor by reducing the gap between coils, thereby increasing the space factor of the coil.SOLUTION: A slot 5 formed between teeth 3 adjoining in the circumferential direction is tapered so that the width perpendicular to the diameter decreases toward the radially inner peripheral side. A segment coil 4 forming the stator coil has a slot housing section 41 inserted into the slot 5 while straddling a plurality of teeth 3, and one coil end 42 coupling the slot housing section 41 on the outside of the slot 5, and the width of the slot housing section 41 in a direction perpendicular to the radial direction decreases toward the radially inner peripheral side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
