PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of reducing an error of an estimated temperature of a to-be-braked member.SOLUTION: A parking brake control device 19 drives an electric motor 43B on the basis of an apply request, etc. by driver's operating a parking brake switch 18 and applies a brake force as a parking brake. The parking brake control device 19 includes an estimated-temperature calculation unit that estimates a temperature of a disc rotor 4 and a control unit that applies the brake force to a vehicle. The estimated-temperature calculation unit estimates the temperature of the disc rotor 4 using a friction coefficient of a brake pad 33. In this case, the estimated-temperature calculation unit changes the friction coefficient from a reference value to a corrected value when the estimated temperature becomes not lower than a predetermined value, and calculates the estimated temperature on the basis of the corrected value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
